Tournament Success! Congratulations!
Thank you to all teams who participated in our 45th Annual HGHA tournament this past week-end!
135 games were played by 76 teams, on 4 ice pads during a very snowy 3 days, and we hope that lots of fun was had by all!
Thank you to the HGHA executive for putting on such a great event for our association and community! It was a huge effort by all with most of our board members also being bench staff or playing on their own teams, refereeing, and taking care of business as well!
We have so much gratitude for our tournament director Kerri Vallentin and her family for the endless hours spent organizing, and taking care of the million details an event of this size comes with! Thank you to the Vallentins!!
Another huge thank you goes out to all of our HGHA families who volunteered their time over the week-end, donated items for the silent auction and secured sponsorship money for the event! We will let everyone know how much money was raised when totals are tallied up!
Congratulations to all of our Huntsville teams who participated. We have had great feed-back that our teams represented our association beautifully and good sportsmanship was shown and appreciated!
HUGE shout out to the Huntsville U13 Gold team for taking the Gold medal in their final game after a 7 person shoot-out against the U13 black team! What a game!!!Way to go GOLD, and congrats to the black team for a game well played and for your silver medals!
Our Senior C team were also finalists and took the silver medal after a hard fought game against Orillia. Way to go team!
We are thrilled that the tournament was such a success, and hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and made lifelong memories with their teams!
