Our AGM will be held on June 3, 2026 at 6pm at the Summit Centre in the ALC.
The AGM is our annual meeting where your Directors will provide updates on what they worked on this past season, review the financials, and conduct the election of the Board of Directors for the 26/27 season.
Who can attend and vote: Members in good standing may attend, vote on bylaws, and vote for Board nominees.
RSVP: Please RSVP by June 2 at 6:00pm if you plan to attend or will be sending a delegate.
Unable to attend? You may assign a delegate to vote on your behalf. Please email President@huntsvillegha.ca with:

Your daughter's name
Her team from the 2025-2026 season
The name of your delegate
Delegates must be 18+ and may only vote on behalf of one member.
Voting Overview:
Members (in good standing for the 2025/26 season) of the HGHA Sting have voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting.
Key Rules:
A member is defined as: a Director, a Rostered Individual (i.e. Bench Staff) who is over 18 Years of Age, a Parent or Legal Guardian of a HGHA rostered player under 18 years of age, or a HGHA rostered player over 18 years of age.
Please review the HGHA bylaws on our website (Huntsville Girls Hockey Association : Website by RAMP InterActive) surrounding membership & delegates for further clarity.
Each member is limited to one vote only, regardless of other positions that may be held within the association or rostered minors under your care. If the parents or legal guardians' of players under 18 years of age rostered to the HGHA is beyond their voting capacity of 1 each, they can delegate these votes. Additionally, members unable to attend the AGM can also delegate their respective vote.
Examples:
Family with 1 rostered player under 18 years of age, no association roles= 1 Vote total (cast by a parent/legal guardian or delegate)
Family with 2 rostered players under 18 years of age and no association roles= 2 Votes total each vote cast by different individual (i.e. two parents or legal guardians, or one parent/legal guardian & one delegate).
Family with 3 rostered players under 18 years of age & a parent with 2 association roles (Director & Bench Staff)= 4 Votes total, with each vote cast by a different individual. (i.e. 1 Director & Bench staff role 1 vote, one parent/legal guardian for 1 player vote, & 2 delegates for 2 remaining player votes).
